If you are booking this course on behalf of someone else then you agree to ensure that they have read and understood them.

  1. Receipt of the Booking Confirmation is acceptance of the Terms & Conditions
  2. Due to the high demand for places, if a participant fails to turn up without giving 'reasonable notice', this will result in a charge of £60 + VAT per person
  3. 'Reasonable notice' includes emailing carkraft@kier.co.uk or ring/text 07583 078058 before 12 noon on the Friday before the event
  4. If you cannot attend on the day of the event please ring/text 07583 078058 at the earliest opportunity and leave a message, if possible
  5. Participation is restricted to one session per person per year per session type
  6. If you are found to have booked on to more than one event, we will cancel the additional booking and inform you of the cancellation
  7. I confirm that I currently hold a full UK driving licence or equivalent from a country outside the UK (please note that for the Learner Driver session you do not need a driving licence)
  8. I accept that I must produce my UK driving licence and Check Code or national driving licence and if it is not produced then I will not be able to take part in the event (qualifed driver session only)
  9. I declare that I am in good health and my eyesight is up to the standard required for a UK driving test. I also declare that I am not suffering from any other medical condition or disability, which has not been declared to the DVLA and is likely to adversely affect my normal control of a vehicle or which might make it unsafe for me to drive or participate in the activity
  10. Participation in the qualified driver event is subject to successfully passing an eyesight test conducted on the day. Drivers who do not meet the required standard will not be permitted to take part.
  11. I accept that I shall be solely responsible for any decision as to my fitness to participate in any activity and as to whether to continue to drive any vehicle at any time whilst it is in my possession or under my control. I understand that Silverstone Circuits Limited, Porsche Cars Great Britain (PCGB), West and North Northamptonshire Councils and Northamptonshire Police reserves the right to remove me from the venue if it considers their actions to be dangerous or detrimental to other venue users
  12. I accept that I am responsible for adhering to all traffic legislation whilst driving on a public highway and that there will be no liability on Northamptonshire Police or West and North Northamptonshire Councils should I be prosecuted for any traffic violation
  13. I declare that I'm not any prescription medication, which prevents me from driving and I haven't consumed any alcohol or illegal substances
  14. The organisers reserve the right to breathalyse/DrugWipe test any participant or member of staff if they suspect that they have consumed any intoxicants. If a result indicates the presence of ANY intoxicants then the person will not be permitted to take part in the event and may be subject to a Police intervention
  15. On an occasion where a participant under 18 has a 1-2-1 with a driving instructor, they MUST be accompanied during the driving session
  16. All events are subject to change and may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to contact participants at the earliest opportunity, which may be on the day of the event
  17. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times whilst at the event
  18. For safety reasons, participants must have a sufficient understanding of spoken English to follow and comply with all instructions provided during the event 
  19. To ensure the saftey and wellbing of all attendees, participants are expected to: follow all instructions provided by event staff at all times, behave in a reasonable and respectful manner with due regard for others, have a sufficient understanding of spoken English to follow and comply with safety instructions and guidance
  20. Where a participant requires additional support to meet these requirements (e.g. an interpreter), this should normally be arranged in advance by the participant
  21. We will consider reasonable requests for adjustments on a case-by-case basis where necessary to support the safe and inclusive participation
  22. Failure to comply with these expectations may result in removal from the session where necessary to maintain safety
  23. If you have any specific requirements to support your participation in the event, please let us know in advance
